Al Arabiya Jordan Airs the Middle East’s First Fully Digital News Bulletin, Powered by TVU Networks and MEBS.

Cloud-native workflows simplify news production while improving flexibility, operational efficiency, and business continuity

AMMAN, Jordan — July 2026 — Al Arabiya Jordan has successfully aired the Middle East’s first fully digital news bulletin through a cloud-native production environment powered by TVU Networks and implemented by MEBS – Middle East Broadcast Solutions, TVU Networks’ exclusive partner across the MENA region.

The project represents an important step in the evolution of broadcast production in the region, introducing a streamlined cloud-based workflow designed to reduce infrastructure complexity while giving production teams greater flexibility, efficiency, and operational resilience.

The complete bulletin is produced within TVU’s cloud ecosystem, combining multiple technologies into a unified production workflow.

A Fully Cloud-Connected Production Environment

At the studio level, TVU RPS One connects cameras, microphones, and other production systems through a simplified architecture, reducing the need for multiple layers of traditional broadcast infrastructure.

Live production is managed through TVU Producer, where switching, audio mixing, graphics integration, and production coordination are handled directly in the cloud. This allows members of the production team to collaborate and operate from different locations while maintaining full control over the live program.

Remote guests and contributors can also participate through TVU Partyline, joining broadcasts through a web-based connection without the need for complex dedicated equipment or traditional remote production setups.

Once production is complete, the bulletin is delivered through TVU Channel, enabling content to be distributed simultaneously across both digital and traditional broadcast platforms from a single cloud-based output.

Together, these technologies create a connected workflow that covers contribution, production, collaboration, playout, and distribution within one cloud environment.

Supporting a New Generation of Broadcast Workflows

Commenting on the project, Emad Qawasmi, Managing Director – MENA at TVU Networks, said:

“What Al Arabiya Jordan has achieved demonstrates the potential of cloud technology to transform the way news is produced and delivered. Broadcasters can gain greater operational flexibility, improve efficiency, and strengthen backup capabilities while continuing to meet professional broadcast standards.”

Eng. Ahmad Abu Shayeb, Broadcast Sales & Solutions Specialist Engineering MENA at MEBS, added:

“We are proud to support Al Arabiya Jordan with a solution that brings together cloud production, operational flexibility, and business continuity. This project shows how broadcasters can transition toward modern production workflows while maintaining the quality, reliability, and operational standards required in professional news environments.”

Sharing Al Arabiya Jordan’s experience with the deployment, Mr. Ammar Al-Hindi, Head of Al Arabiya and Al Hadath Channels Office in Jordan, said:

“We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Eng. Ahmad Abu Shayeb and the MEBS Jordan Team for their technical expertise, dedication, and continued support throughout this project. Traditionally, producing a complete news bulletin required significant satellite infrastructure and complex broadcast operations. Today, our experience with TVU Networks and MEBS has shown that cloud-based production can deliver a complete digital news bulletin with the quality, reliability, and efficiency required for daily news operations. It provides us with a smarter and more flexible approach to producing and delivering trusted news content.”

Advancing Cloud Broadcasting Across MENA

The successful implementation at Al Arabiya Jordan reflects the growing adoption of cloud-native broadcast technologies across the MENA region.

By combining TVU Networks’ cloud production ecosystem with MEBS’ regional implementation and technical expertise, broadcasters can modernize their production environments with workflows designed to be more flexible, scalable, and resilient.

The project demonstrates how cloud-based infrastructure can support not only everyday news production, but also remote collaboration, multi-platform distribution, disaster recovery, and long-term operational growth.
